TV Commercials (and Infomercials)
|
We have produced more than 50 high-budget television commercials for leading international advertising agencies in Europe. In New Zealand, we have produced more than 25 television ads since 1997. In NZ, our speciality is low-cost productions. However we still maintain rigorous and professional standards. We are proud to deliver work to our clients that brings visible results. The TV commercial business is about being straightforward and telling the message according to the most important rule in advertising: KISS (Keep it simple, stupid).
The main advantage of working with us on your TVC is the fact that we are familiar with all advertising processes, creative solutions and branding. Furthermore, we can develop concepts that will match your other media advertisements, or we can create a completely unique solution. We can even provide you with a strategy and point you in the right direction when buying media time. The greatest difference between producing a TV commercial and an infomercial is the duration. The rules for video length in mainstream television broadcasting are strict! TVCs are usually 15, 30, 45 or 60 seconds long. Infomercials are usually run for 2, 4 or 6 minutes. |
MADTMobility Assistance Dogs Trust needed a 30-second TVC to be broadcast on Maori TV. Their main intention was to raise awareness of mobility dogs among Maori population.
We always insist on negotiating special deals for charities and community-related institutions. |
NZ OperaEvery year, NZ Opera premieres a new opera production. Because of a tight budget, they always go with simple 15-second TV commercial such as this one we produced for NZ Opera.

Tile WarehouseOver several years of partnership, we produced a range of 15-second clips for Tile Warehouse, an iconic NZ retailer. The success of our client's advertising is based on simple, catchy concept with a strong call to action. The media strategy also helps: A short commercial broadcast in a short time period, with lots of time slots.

StoryboardWhen we develop more complicated story (usually TV or Social Media commercial), we also generate a storyboard. The reason for this is the fact that most stakeholders don't have the experience of visualizing something off of a text deliverable, such as a script.
When we have a storyboard, we can show our clients exactly how their video is going to be mapped out and what it will look like. This makes it infinitely easier for clients to understand our idea. |
