Aspects to consider
Time-Lapse FilmingWe can add value to your product, service or company presentation by using literally thousands of different effects. These effects are mostly generated during the post-production process using Adobe After Effects, Boris, Digital Anarchy and other professional applications.
However, there are some cinematic effects we create with the camera in the filming phase. One such effect is time-lapse filming. This technique is used when we want to demonstrate lengthy, time-consuming processes such as the process of building a house, or if we want to add drama to scenes from nature. |

LightingWe at Golem are proud that we deliver excellent images based not only on the content of the shot, but also the mood of the shot. Good lighting makes a huge difference to how appealing the product or subject appears. Very often, a great-looking shot doesn't actually require any additional cost. It is about time management, logistics and a sound knowledge of the movement of the sun for outdoor filming. When we filmed in the Marlborough vineyards, our client was initially satisfied with the shots on the left. However, our cameraman, like all of us at Golem, was a perfectionist. He returned to the same spot 12 hours later and achieved a far superior result.

In fact, these very same shots taken by our team in the vineyards of Marlborough became iconic shots for the NZ wine industry. Our client was able to monetise the shots and eventually sold them to international TV stations such as Discovery, NBC, BBC for their projects about the NZ wine industry.

Teleprompter - AutocueIf required, we have a portable autocue (teleprompter), which can be used in our studio or in your environment.
A teleprompter is a display device that prompts the person speaking with an electronic visual text. The screen is in front of the lens of a camera, and the words on the screen are reflected to the eyes of the presenter using a specially prepared beam splitter. When using autocue, the speaker can appear to have memorized the speech or to be speaking spontaneously, as they are looking directly into the camera lens. |
International LanguagesWe are also produce videos and TV commercials in foreign languages. The number of ethnic TV stations in NZ is constantly rising. However, this is not the only reason why our clients are beginning ask for international versions of their videos more often. Many companies these days have multi-lingual websites, and multi-lingual social media is important as well in the context of international fairs or showrooms. For example, if you are intending to promote your product in the USA, it makes sense to promote it using an American accent. We provide the American accent service not only for our clients, but also for other video production companies who don't have capacity to do it themselves.
Feel free to check out different samples of our international language work. |
